— The Firm
A small firm, by design.
KTGI was founded on a single conviction: that capital is too consequential to delegate to junior bankers and templated frameworks.
— Our Story
"We do not chase transactions. We design them."
KTGI Capital Advisory was established in 2007 as a deliberately small practice serving a deliberately considered client list. In nearly two decades, the firm has counselled promoters and boards across every major Indian sector — infrastructure, manufacturing, renewables, family-owned enterprises, and institutionally-backed companies.
What distinguishes us is not our analysis. Every advisory firm produces analysis. What distinguishes us is our refusal to dilute the partner-client relationship through layers of intermediation. Each engagement is led by a named partner. Each piece of work is rehearsed against the board's lens before it leaves the firm.
This discipline costs us scale. It buys us trust.
— Our Convictions
i.
Capital decisions compound.
A poorly designed term sheet today is a poorly governed company in five years. We treat every recommendation as a decade-long instrument.
ii.
The board is the audience.
Not the regulator, not the auditor, not the press. The board carries fiduciary weight — our work earns its place in that room.
iii.
Discretion is non-negotiable.
We do not name clients. We do not parade transactions. The reference, when it comes, comes by introduction.
iv.
Patience is a fee structure.
We accept fewer mandates than the market would offer. We turn down work that does not warrant a partner's full attention.
